Nature inspired, healthy cake art from London



I'm Dina, a London based cake designer specialised in natural and healthy cakes. Nature is my inspiration and cakes are a form of art to me, so I think of buttercream as a canvas when creating your bespoke design. I hope to share my art and passion with you on your big day!



I've always been quite keen on the environment in my personal life so I couldn't imagine doing things differently in my sustainable small business either. I sometimes go to extremes when it comes to zero waste ideas, experiment with environmentally friendly and natural ingredients unusual to cake designing and always prefer organic fruits and vegetables sourced from local producers. I’m striving to achieve quality and style in a sustainable and healthy version that is not only beneficial for us but hopefully to the planet as well. Any of us who does the same knows that this is tough and has certain limits but I think the most important thing is to just start and make an effort.


Cakes & leaves is the story of my creative journey on the road to achieving sustainability at as many levels as possible for a cake business. My nature inspired bespoke designs are created from all the best natural, local, organic ingredients, using some with extreme health benefits such as superfoods. I try to push my boundaries with vegan, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free bakes as I understand that there are so many of us with the most varied dietary needs. 


Simple yet eclectic floral decor, minimal, elegant and sometimes boho style is what I would say describes my cake art. Each and every cake is carefully tailored to match your special occasion inside and out so you will never find the same centrepiece at another wedding. From single to multiple layers, my custom order flavours, fillings and frostings are made from scratch complimenting your personal taste.

My signature flavours range from matcha green tea flavoured Italian meringue buttercream and freshly roasted pistachio chiffon cakes to hibiscus and strawberry curd coloured with beetroot powder or even home made lavender syrup infused dark chocolate mousse. Nature gives us endless varieties, let’s discover them together and create something truly memorable for your wedding!
